The questions we hear most. Still stuck? Reach out below.

How much does Toolumen cost?

Toolumen is a paid product. Plans start at $19.99/mo (Basic), with Premium, Elite — which adds API access — and custom Enterprise tiers. See the pricing page for what each includes.

Do I need an account?

Most tools are open to everyone. A few tools under /tools are gated behind a Stacklumen account so we can keep them stable — creating one takes a few seconds.

Do my files get uploaded?

For the browser-first tools, no. Files and images are processed entirely client-side — they never leave your device, and there is no server to leak them. Two tools (the SEO + AEO Audit and Open Graph Preview) fetch a URL you give them server-side, because a browser cannot read another site directly. Those send the URL, not your files.

Why does a tool need sign-in?

The two server-rendered tools fetch and process remote URLs on our backend. Requiring an account lets us prevent abuse and keep that service responsive for everyone. There is no telemetry attached — the account just gates access.

Which browsers are supported?

Any current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari. The tools lean on modern web APIs, so keep your browser up to date for the best results — especially the WASM-backed converters.

A tool isn't working — what do I do?

First, hard-refresh the page and try again in an up-to-date browser. If it still misbehaves, report it from the contact page with the tool name, your browser, and what you expected to happen — that detail helps us fix it fast.

How do I suggest a feature?

Head to the requests page and tell us what you want. Toolumen grows from real requests, so a clear description of the problem you are trying to solve goes a long way.

Still stuck?

We read every message.

If the docs and FAQ did not cover it, get in touch — describe what you were doing and we will get back to you.
